Mr. Chumpol Taksapornch ai (Tuw)
Born on 20 March 1977 in Bangkok
Studied Fine art in Thaivijitsilpa Art College in Chiang Mai
and graduated from Rajabhat Thonburi Institute in Bangkok
with a degree in Visual communication art design.
Chumpolis a full time artist
and owner of Matoom Art Space in Chiang Mai.
Chumpol’s work has been used in a number of local publications in addition to being exhibited in galleries throughout Thailand, as well as in Australia,Czech Republic,Japan and swissland. His most recent exhibition in swissland was well received, promoting Southeast Asian contemporary art , which embodies Buddhist philosophy.insights and an appreciation of living a simple life. Using a versatile set of mediums which include oil, acrylic, watercolours, and crayon on canvas and hand made bamboo papers, his art work exudes a peaceful aura, a reflection of the philosophy that shapes his everyday life,culture and faith.

最近の展示会はスイスのNeuchatelのギャラリーにて、仏教に基づいたフィロソフィーと内観、日々への感謝を描くアジア現代アートとして紹介されました。
キャンバスまたはハンドメイドの竹紙に油彩、アクリル。水彩そしてオイルパステルを使って、独特でファンタジックな精神世界を表現しています。
チュンポンの絵は社会的状況を描写するために一見単純にみえるスケッチ法を用いて、物事を象徴的に浮かび上がらせます。それは彼の根底にある重大な考えにもかかわらず、見る人に笑顔をあたえます。
